It is shocking how many motel/hotel owners in Australia do not have a virtual presence online! Often getting bookings are left to online booking companies. Not only is this expensive (in the UK some booking companies are charging 25% of a booking – we believe this will start happening in Australia soon), it is short-sighted. Using booking sites are great, but neglecting to do your own digital marketing will mean that you will become dependent on them for customers and will have no choice when they decide to change their pricing model or advertising strategy (and compete with you directly to get your customers).

We are working with motel/hotel owners to create digital marketing plans to help them get more direct bookings.
